The class is taught through a combination of lecture, group discussion, and small group exercises, designed to help the student identify and change established patterns of behavior that hinder spiritual development.

Modeling Jesus

  • Issues of the Heart models Biblically based methods of inquiry by which an individual discovers underlying motivations that control his life.

  • Participants learn how to help others discover keys to greater spiritual and mental freedom.

  • Participants discover how to impart to others the tools necessary for living a Christ-centered life.

Answers the following questions and more:

  • Is total life transformation achievable?

  • What are the 5 levels of love?

  • How can you have power over your enemies?

  • What is the key to developing trusting relationships?

  • What 5 actions are the most damaging to relationships?

  • How can you be free of controlling influences in your life?

  • How can your pain be used to your advantage?

  • What are the keys to mental stability?

  • How can happiness be achieved in this life?


 About the teacher

Since 1995 Denise Walsh has been teaching Issues of the Heart nationally and internationally. She shares candidly her own struggles that led to the discovery of the Biblical truths explored in this study.
